About Us
Maren Bean is currently in the animation program at BYU. She enjoys bird watching, Studio Ghibli, and is the artist for the webcomic A Shepherd Called Bales.
Johnny Jensen graduated from UVU with a degree in Finance, and then proceeded to write the World Record game of Dungeons and Dragons. He is currently the author of the webcomic A Shepherd Called Bales.
A Shepherd Called Bales
Written by Johnny Jensen and drawn by Maren Bean, A Shepherd Called Bales is a story about a young, anti-social woman who wants nothing more than to be left alone to take care of her strangely many-colored sheep in the wake of the apocalypse. When the same monsters that brought the world to its knees begins to target the people in Bales' community of survivors, Bales is forced to face her own demons. As another prophesied end of days approaches, Bales needs to learn the value of living together, instead of surviving alone.
